WOMEN'S MINISTRY

We focus on three “Connecting Points” for Women

  • Outreach and Fun connections

  • Light Spiritual feeding connections

  • Mentoring/Discipleship and Growing in Christ connections

Each quarter, a team of 2-3 women volunteers plan a Women's Ministry event per their quarter.: Bible-study, hiking, a meal, an outreach opportunity - they create an event that will foster fellowship and fun for all women of Crossroads.  It's a great opportunity to meet women of faith and make new friendships.

On Mondays during the school year, women deepen their faith walk through bible commentary study at a small group.  Annually the women of Crossroads attend a Women's Retreat at Camp Berea in Hebron, NH in September, we hold an outreach breakfast at Christmas, offer a small group in the fall or spring and hold other events throughout the year. WOMEN'S MONDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Mondays 10:00am - Church Fellowship Hall (No Childcare). Group Facilitator: Mary Blue

The Women's Bible Study is off for the summer, returning on September 15, 2025.

The book the group will be sharing is "Jesus in Me: Experiencing the Holy Spirit as a Constant Companion" by Anne Graham Lotz.

"In Jesus in Me, Anne Graham Lotz draws on her rich biblical knowledge as well as her personal journey—including her recent cancer diagnosis—to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is not a magic genie, a flame of fire, or a vague feeling. He is a Person who prays for us, guides us in our relationships and decisions, comforts us in pain, and stays by our side at all times. In this seminal teaching, she explores seven key aspects of the Holy Spirit that will revolutionize how you understand and relate to this vital third Person in the Trinity.
As Anne writes, “One of my deepest, richest joys has been discovering by experience who the Holy Spirit is in every step of my life’s journey. Each name that He has been given—Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, and Standby—reveals another aspect of His beautiful character and has provoked in me a deep love for the One who is my constant Companion . . . Jesus in me.”
Discover how to better love and rely on the person of the Holy Spirit—and embrace how much He loves you through His presence, power, and provision in our daily lives."

If you are interested in joining the group, please contact the office. Participants purchase their book and study guide on Amazon.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO BE A SPIRIT-FILLED WOMAN TODAY?

“Lord, You know me. You know my natural personality is given to fear. You know all my insecurities. You know that I have a need to be loved and to feel significant and to feel affirmed. And Father, I’m not going to ask my family to do that for me today. They may or may not, and if they do, that’s wonderful. But Father, You are my sole satisfaction, and I ask You to satisfy me this morning with Your unfailing love.”
