"God’s Thoughts Are Fixed on You!"
Awhile back we looked at Isaiah 26:3 which says that in order to have God’s perfect peace our thoughts must be stayed or fixed on God. I love that idea that my thoughts can be leaned up against God… that I can find stability and strength leaning on Him and not my own understanding. But what if the opposite is also true… that God has His thoughts fixed on me?
That is exactly what Jeremiah 29:11 says about God’s people…“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has His thoughts fixed on you and they are thoughts of peace to bring you where He wants you to be.
