Help for Aspiring Pastors and Newbies (with a Little Help from My Friends)

For the last several weeks I’ve been involved in a brief research project regarding how to help aspiring pastors and new(ish) pastors prepare for ministry. Not wanting to go it alone, I reached out to three pastor/mentors, asking them what the most significant lesson(s) they have learned in ministry, and incorporated their answers into my article.

My heart for local church pastors prompted my interest in writing this piece. Since all of you have supported my writing in the past, I thought I would share the results of my research with you. My prayer is that those not involved in vocational ministry will benefit from these thoughts. I’d love to hear about what God has taught you during your walk with him as well. Thanks!
