"All In: A Life Offered Back to God – Letting God Reshape How You Think and Live"

There’s a moment in every garage clean-out where you find a box you forgot you even had.
You pop the lid off, thinking you’ll throw it away—but then you start sorting.
Old journals, broken stuff you meant to fix, folders from a job you no longer work.
You stare at it. You think, What was I holding on to this for?

Our minds are like that, too.

We carry thoughts and assumptions we haven’t looked at in years.
Ways of thinking formed by survival, or shame, or childhood.
We compartmentalize our lives like drawers: faith over here, work over there, stress shoved in the back.
God might even have His own drawer—but that’s not what He’s after.

Paul writes:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—
his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
(Romans 12:2)

The Greek word for “transformed” is metamorphoō—where we get “metamorphosis.”
This isn’t behavior management. It’s a new way of being.

Paul expands the idea in Ephesians:

“You were taught… to put off your old self,
which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
and to put on the new self, created to be like God
in true righteousness and holiness.”
(Ephesians 4:22–24)

This is deeper than self-help or life hacks. This is identity work.
It’s the Spirit flipping open an old box and saying, Let’s talk about what’s still in here.
Not to shame you—but to free you.

🧠 Reflection Questions:

  • What’s one thought pattern you’ve been living with that no longer serves who God is calling you to be?
  • What part of your life have you kept in a “drawer,” separate from your discipleship?
  • What would it mean this week to sit with God and say, I’m open to being renewed—starting here”?

📖 Dwelling Point: Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:22–24
God’s goal isn’t to clean up your mess. It’s to remake you into someone whole.
