"Living on Mission: Why Your Story Matters"
Galatians 2:6–10
God didn’t save you just to sit on the sidelines.
He saved you because you have a part to play in His story.
Paul and Peter had different assignments — Paul to the Gentiles, Peter to the Jews — but the mission was the same: Get the Gospel out.
When Paul met with the leaders of the early church, he didn’t shrink back or apologize for his calling.
They didn’t either.
They recognized that God's hand was on Paul, and they gave him the right hand of fellowship — sending him out to do what only he could do.
I once heard a pastor say something I’ve never forgotten:
"If you don’t care about people meeting Jesus, you’re sitting in the wrong seat. Make room for someone who will."
It felt harsh when I first heard it — but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
God saved us to send us.
And the truth is, there are people in your life who your pastor, your Sunday School teacher, even your best Christian friends might never reach — but you can.
Some things to think about:
• Who has God placed around you that needs to hear about His love?
• What parts of your life story could God use to reach them?
• How can you be more intentional about living sent this week?
Practicing Faith (this week):
Think of three people in your everyday life who don’t know Jesus.
Start praying for them by name this week — every day.
Memory Verse Challenge:
"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me."
— John 14:1
A Prayer You Can Pray:
"Lord, thank You for saving me — and sending me.
Open my eyes to see the people You’ve placed around me.
Give me boldness and love to share my story for Your glory."
