When You Feel Like “Just One

Sometimes the hardest part of faith…is feeling insignificant.

Scripture

“Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants…” — Hebrews 11:12

Abraham was one man.

Old.
Limited.
Unimpressive by worldly standards.

And, by the way, his wife was all those things too.

And yet God built a nation through them.

We often disqualify ourselves:

  • “I’m not enough.”
  • “I don’t have what it takes.”
  • “I’m too far behind.”

But God has always worked through people who felt small.

Faith isn’t about how much you bring to the table.

It’s about who you trust with what you have.

So maybe the real question is

Are you available?

Reflect
Where do you feel inadequate right now?
How might God want to work through you anyway?

Pray
God, when I feel small, remind me that You are not limited by me.
Help me trust You with what I have.

Memory Verse

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
